healthy, fresh corals, clean water..

giant giant clam, off a beach dive...
..

Air-conditioned rooms, all food, transfers, UNLIMITED DIVES and the best part? WE WERE THE ONLY DIVERS ON THE WHOLE ISLAND!!
..
There're just 4 beaches on the island: 3 with small resorts and the last one is off-limits, where the turtles lay their eggs 5 times a year - and we stay on the north beach where the turtle hatchery is!

Squid, pipefish, nurse sharks, barracuda, school of HUGE bumphead parrotfish, 6ft wide marble rays, sea snakes, eels EVERYWHERE and even 2 shovel-nosed rays! So many things we'd need a new gallery to show them all!!

This is Lang Tengah, which we've added as the second east coast island for our courses this year...

nudibranch (chromodoris preciosa) in lang tengah, cat shark hiding from the light on a night dive off shore.
.. .

Firefish, tube corals, 5foot long cobias, kuhl stingrays, black tip sharks, unicorn leatherjackets, sheeeshh!! Click here for more pictures! My camera went NUTS!

Lang Tengah has 15 dive sites including a GORGEOUS shore dive where we do classes and night dives, Yellow Reef where Jann's Pipefish swim in the open and a wreck at 24m. Nibong Laut is a deep dive at 30m and resident nurse sharks, Karang Baha is the nudibranch heaven and a school of 20 bumphead parrotfish patrols the north & east beach!

Heaven?... mmmm.. no, but it was a great break.. LOL!!

the north beach where we stay, baby nurse shark, jann's pipefish on yellow seafan & soft corals on the wreck..

an eel is jealous of my attention on the stingray, Beta Team (as in "Beta wan togo diving, daa...), feather star and relaxing on the beach...

"David and I just wanted to say thanks for a fabulous long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and came home feeling quite weary from all the sea air and exercise (for David!), but happy :-) You are very very good at what you do and your leadership certainly added to the enjoyment of the trip. Looking forward to our catch-up! Cheers -

"Reeza was our Mother Hen - repairing cameras, organising our dives and making sure we saw the best that Sipadan and Mabul had to offer. By our last night on Sipadan, everyone wanted to be part of our small, exclusive group - "Reeza's Babes"!!. Started as strangers, and left as friends.. Thanks Skinny Brown One!"

"The best part was breathing underwater. I didn't feel afraid because the water wasn't deep and everyone was around. At first I wasn't comfortable but my teacher (Reeza) let me try it out again and again until it was all right. I don't swim very well and this is the first time I have worn a proper swimsuit but it was fun!"
