Once upon a time there was a lost little boy, who was always in trouble. He studied theology for 10 years, got into fights, moved from school to school and worked in construction. Trying to find out who he was...

Until he finally came good and became a big time banker, much to his beloved mum's relief (seen with her grandkids. None of which are his..)

But I guess you can't run from the truth, and life changed when he picked up climbing & met Shen, Kate & Glen in Borneo. And suddenly realised he was empty. So with a typical romantic flourish he quit the bank, sold his house, grew his hair long and became a dive instructor.

And travelled the world sharing his love for water, until one day he decided to put his knowledge to good use, stopped moving and created bigfish in Apr 2002 ...
So now this little wanderer is all grown up and guides safaris from Thailand to New Guinea, Pulau Weh to Trinkomalee. Teaches kids to save the animals as well as quick escapes to the East Coast - and doesn't care if he has chicken legs! Skinny fish is also writing a book on diving, teaches u/w photography and tries to make it a better place. And not fall off his snowboard too often and hurt his head..

Jerry & Reeza met years ago while diving in Thailand and a friendship quickly developed, climbing, diving, skiing & snowboarding together as well as discussing everything under the sun incl racism, history, science, philosophy and culture - who says dive bums can't read?!

Moved to Yosemite Park in 1965 at the height of the 60's revolution, Jerry's been climbing & guiding for more than 40 years, is a walking encyclopedia on American Indian history & culture, a Level 3 Instructor with the PSIA and a Who's Who in the Mountain Guides Association, having done everything from forest fire management, driving trucks to back country ski patrols. Oh, and guiding Tyra Banks in his spare time. *grumble grumble...*
