Once upon a time there was a lost little boy, who was always in trouble. He studied theology for 10 years, got into fights, moved from school to school and worked in construction. Trying to find out who he was... But I guess you can't run from
the truth, and life changed when he picked up climbing & met Shen,
Kate & Glen in Borneo. And suddenly realised he was empty.
So with a typical romantic flourish he quit the bank, sold his house,
grew his hair long and became a dive instructor. |

And travelled the world sharing his love for water, until one day he decided to put his
knowledge to good use, stopped moving and created bigfish

Jerry. The BIG guy. The Man. Jerry & Reeza met years ago while diving in Thailand and a friendship quickly developed, climbing, diving, skiing & snowboarding together as well as discussing everything under the sun incl racism, history, science, philosophy and culture - who says dive bums can't read?! Moved to Yosemite Park in 1965 at the height of the 60's revolution, Jerry's been climbing & guiding for more than 40 years, is a walking encyclopedia on American Indian history & culture, a Level 3 Instructor with the PSIA and a Who's Who in the Mountain Guides Association, having done everything from forest fire management, driving trucks to back country ski patrols. Oh, and guiding Tyra Banks in his spare time. *grumble grumble...* |

6"4 and 70lbs heavier than Reeza he is NOT skinny, climbs big walls and 5.11s and works with Reeza to develop ties between Malaysia & the US. Happily married to beautiful Sigrid for over 30 years with kids Lynnea and William, he also works as a ski instructor in Lake Tahoe in winter, is learning to cook with oyster sauce and takes the mickey out of skinny brown men! Our Philosophy, Simple: "Have our own shop so we can dive in the most beautiful places away from everyone; teach diving safely the way it ought to be and have fun doing it!!" |

"I will write a few lines for you. It will be my pleasure... Because believe or not, and I think you did not understand me when I told you there... The experience changed my life not only in a diver perspective but also in a personal way. This course showed me that despite appearances... giving a lot, helping the others, taking care and doing your best for the people to enjoy the underwater in a safe manner, gives you in return a great quantity of energy and marvellous experiences... Thank you for these three weeks... It has been an unforgetable experience... :o) .. next email from home!! Sebastian Mediavilla, Spain, Divemaster Course Tonsai, Dec 2003.. "Reeza was our Mother Hen - repairing cameras, organising
our dives and making sure we saw the best that Sipadan and Mabul had
to offer. By our last night on Sipadan, everyone wanted to be part
of our small, exclusive group - "Reeza's Babes"!!. Started as strangers,
and left as friends.. ..........................................................Kirsty Shepherd, UK - Sipadan trip Oct'03 Just word-of-mouth, small, exclusive groups and the
money from diving goes intothe environment and helping Mother Earth.
And if we can do this and make kids smile, why not?! |
